Why Are There So Many Rural Laborers in Big Cities?
No one has failed to notice the phenomenon that there has been a steady rise in(稳定的增加)the number of rural laborers (农村劳动力) who swarm into(涌入)big cities. Taking a look around， we can find that many men work on construction sites (建筑工地), while many women work as cleaner in restaurants or babysitters (保姆)for city dwellers (城市居民).
Ample (充分的，足够的)reasons can account for this social phenomenon. First and foremost, the limited land can no longer (再也不能)produce enough crops for an ever-increasing rural population，they have no choice but to flock into big cities to earn a living(谋生).In the second place, it is widely accepted by the countryman(乡下人) that the larger the cities are，the greater the opportunities are (城市越大，机会越大)，which means they have chance to work and live and raise their families with dignity (更多的机会去工作、生活,更体面地养活家庭).
